Private Equity Fund Manager

We worked with a fund manager with a multi billion asset portfolio to review financial risk associated with the life cycle of fund asset companies. Cross currency exposure between initial acquisition and close can negatively impact forecast ROI and our role was to ensure this was mitigated. We implemented a bank monitoring and risk assessment process and improved general bank pricing to the extent that it more than covered our fees.

Intellectual Property

We conducted a deep analysis and review of product pricing and designed a working capital model to drive operational and financial outcomes which resulted in avoiding the use of expensive overdraft arrangements and allowed the business model to be scaled.

Credit Administration

We analysed workflows and processes to identify operational risk and inefficiencies, redesigned functions and put in place a programme of business change resulting in a significant business improvement not only in outcomes but also created a better business understanding of the drivers of performance.

Investment management

We undertook a mapping analysis of the investment book of a private bank in order to migrate business between banking platforms, at the same time reviewed a new price structure, and created a plan for the business to increase income opportunities.

Credit strategy

We developed the short and long term commercial credit strategy in a private bank for the board of both offshore and onshore entities, including a programme of business improvement

HR solutions

The pay review process is never simple so we designed a mechanism for a variance analysis between the staff salary list and market rates. We presented this in a user friendly graphical format enabling easy identification of potential staff flight risks and misalignments to the market. Coupled with a detailed underlying analysis, this drove meaningful business decisions and best use of the salary budget available.
